So we finally experienced the SM Kid's Warehouse Sale in Megamall. Well, if you ask me, I don't really pay much attention on these events until two years back. Although I must admit, I am a person who's excitement is always heightened by this four letter word: S-A-L-E. It severely doubled the fun if and when my shopping agenda is all about my daughter. Who cares about long queues and crowded shopping malls if you can hunt treasures that don't skimp quality regardless of a cheaper price, diba? The experience was totally fun especially that Daphne's been greeting everyone with a loud "Hi!" repeatedly.
Since we went there at past 12 noon, Mama and I were literally starving before 3pm. Good thing Dad's merienda buffet was just on time. This is actually the first time I tried the merienda buffet and for the price of Php189 per head, it wasn't bad at all! They had fries, burgers, kakanin and banana cue, chicken and beef noodles, dimsum and a lot more. Puto, dinuguan, palabok and carbonara were the blockbuster dishes. Sulit is the word!
After our hefty meal, we went straight to Toy Kingdom to buy that promised Lalaloopsy doll. I find it really cute but pricey. Imagine Php1,699 then your kid will just ignore it after a few hours playing with it, or worse, ruin it! Hubby will surely raise his eyebrows on me if that happens, ha ha! Of course, Mommy came up with another option which is huggable stuffed dolls. I'm afraid that Daphne's into cars and watching basketball with her Dad on Youtube, so as early as now, I'd like to introduce dolls.
Surprisingly, she adores this pink Antics Collection stuffed doll. Very opposite to her reaction on Lalaloopsy (thank goodness) and Barbie (not now maybe). Her hands were glued to it instantly and we struggled at the cashier's area jut to get the price scanned (which is by the way Php480 less 10%). We even left Toy Kingdom with her unwrapped doll. Eksenadora talaga my baby! He he! By the way, she's wearing the Osh Kosh pink and gray polka dots dress we got during the SM North EDSA sale while Mommy is on a chiffon Kasbah top.
So here, please allow me to share the stuff that made me broke for a day. Ha ha! You still have until September 2 to enjoy as much as 70% discount with these trendiest clothes. I've seen a lot of brands like Gingersnaps and Elle but I may need to wait for a year til their clothes fit on her.
(Purple Candy soft denim romper suit for Php300)
(Random gray polka dots and "touch the color" leggings Php150/each)
(Great Kids sleeveless shirred ruffling layers Php280)
(Moose Girl blouse and leggings Php280)
Most of these items are around 30% off. I wish to leave with a cart full of clothes but since kids are growing up so fast, it's really unnecessary to buy too much. Although by that I meant "not too much" in a single receipt. You can always come back the following day anyway, haha!
Happy shopping, Mothers and Aunties! :)
Much Love,
OneGutsyMom

That's a lot of fun shopping items for your lil girl. I'm sure she will remember future events like this when she gets older, I know I do. Quality need not to be expensive, it's just a matter of being a wise shopper =)
ReplyDeleteThose clothes are really reasonably priced! It makes sense to buy less expensive wearables for babies because they grow so fast.
