Not Your Typical iPhone Case

When it comes to iPhone cases or accessories, I think most girls want a set of colorful and fashionable items. Something that will add drama to what we are currently wearing, define our kikay personality and of course, something that's easy to carry around. When hubby said that he's eyeing for a weatherproof case, I had a few ideas of how it could possibly look like.  I was however stunned when I saw how literally bulky this case he's referring to - the CAPDASE Xplorer Weatherproof Case.

According to the package, this robust hard shell casing protects against tough weather conditions, such as heavy humidity, rain and snow. The contour fitting silicon lining cushions iPhone against bumps, knocks, and reduces shock from riding and dropping.

It has easy access for headphones and original power cable. It includes a soft padded extra-wide neck strap for more even weight distribution and better neck protection. The detachable metal loop is used for fast access. It says here though that case should not be submerged or used underwater.

I really think it makes the iPhone bulkier to carry but definitely serves with a purpose. Hubby being a mountaineer and an onsite engineer finds this case a useful tool to protect his phone. The size of the case and the strap don't seem to be heavy if the dimension is to be considered but if you place the iPhone inside, I think it's like carrying a compact DSLR already.

See how supportive he is to strike a pose for this blog, although I intentionally took a photo so you guys could see how this case looks like when you wear it. Obviously not for girly girls but preferably for those who are into outdoor activities and extreme sports. By the way, he got this from Game One Gadgets in Virra Mall for Php1,200 (original price is Php1,300).

So, would you consider buying this stuff? Share me your ideas. ^^

Much Love,
