You'd probably knew through FB and Twitter that I'm on leave for the rest of the week since yesterday. My Mom had to urgently return to our province to see my granny who's been trying to recover from illness. I didn't like the idea of hiring a nanny during her absence so hubby and I decided to take long vacation leaves. I'm enjoying it VERY MUCH and really, I wish I have this kind of luxury to spend more time everyday with hubby and my little one. I came up with some interesting plans this weekend and tried to book a reservation in Baguio but hubby is hesitant as it may still be pouring there. I worry that my baby might not endure the cold weather especially during early in the morning so I gave in with a big sigh and just decided to organize a few activities nearby. I hope we can give it a go next time, I've been really wanting to take my lil' one for a short vacation. Would you believe that I even specified in my hotel inquiry (via email) that I need assistance on sterilizing my daughter's milk bottles for two days? They were so kind enough to provide such request. Oh well.
Anyways, we've been on and off to the grocery since yesterday, thus the little one's photos riding the pushcarts. I try hard to be reliable on kitchen tasks but hubby volunteered which I obviously did not refuse. Ha ha! He was on leave since Monday to take charge of our lil' one which dragged me to keep checking how his babysitting go. His main worry is how to give her a bath but it went smoothly on day 1 so it didn't stress me at work the following day. Having a smart phone nowadays is really practical if not essential, see that Facetime screenshot below? We also went for a short stroll in Greenhills but forgot that stalls are due to reshuffle every Wednesdays. Silly!
I'm not sure why my lil' one looks cranky here in that cute bib. We got her second happy meal and she realy love McDo just like Mommy and Daddy. ^^ There were few seats left in Greenhills branch and behind us were two staff talking about business related matters. As a natural friendly lil' girl, she kept saying "Hi, Hello and Bye!". So cute! 'twas also our first time to taste their Big 'n Tasty burger. I thought it was just something similar to the BigMac but there's a huge difference with the patty. It's dry and tastier but a lot heavier because of the veggies. You can't eat it with a "pa-cute" opened mouth.
Tonight, we had our first pizza delivery at home. We're torturing our wallets you see, but our tummies were really happy. Always have that palm card ready or borrow from a friend - the free drinks and pizza are too good to ignore. I promise to wear my apron tomorrow and prepare a real home-cooked dish, and besides, I don't want my lil' one to experience milk fatigue so I want her to enjoy solids too. Not those solid food in jars, it's been long since she refused to eat them.
Wish me luck tomorrow! My ingredients are ready but as I am writing this, my left molar's been really painful. Umm, nope, I'm not making excuses okay? ^^
Much Love,
OneGutsyMom
