One of the first few things I'd like to happen this year is to cut my hair short. It's not easy to decide on this having such a round face and note that my double chin is almost always appearing. Though I really welcome a sort of transformation from my last year's look, it's also to prevent my rapid hair fall. I've tried so many shampoos promising hair fall control just to maintain a long hair but none of them ever helped. Honestly, nakakatakot talaga ang buhok ko after giving birth! And I can't be more frustrated looking at my fallen hair from the bathroom floor and even in the office carpet, everyday. So as much as I want to retain the length, regardless if it's terribly messy in the morning, I ended up saying hello to scissors. Off to David's Salon!
The nearest branch is just outside our building. Stress-free from commuting just to see a hairstylist. That day was probably my first visit that has a number of customers. Well maybe we should give credit to new year's resolution for that. One thing I liked here is that waiting time doesn't have to be that long plus they do have enough space to accommodate their clients. Don't you just hate it when you could hardly walk inside going to the hair salon sink? Tipong baka maapakan mo pa yung nag-pe-pedicure? That really happens right?
My stylist asked if I want it 3 inches shorter, I requested to make it 6. Then he uttered "gusto nyo na tlaga ng maiksi Ma'am ha!" so I mentioned the above reason. He automatically offered a number of treatments that may possibly help but I declined. I'm thinking of trying one soon but I want to hear personal experiences first before trying it and how much would it cost me. Ako na segurista noh? Haha! Can you share me some tips, please? I'm planning to meet my friends this coming weekend and sort of thinking if we can squeeze in some self-pampering hour.
Anyhoo, here's the finished product! ^_^
It literally felt much lighter. I love stepping out of the salon with blow-dried hair and always wish that it remain like that forever! I'm sure you do, too! Enter hashtag palipadbuhok.
Hair fall is quite manageable now but I really seek for a good scalp treatment. Please leave your suggestions and where to get it done. Thank you in advance!

Have you tried Human Heart Nature's Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner? It might work for you. Before switching to organic kasi, my scalp used to be really dry and flaky. Then I started using Human Heart Nature's Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner, and I never looked back.

ReplyDeleteI feel you! I have round face too and yes, hello to double chin, haha! :D I wanna cut my hair short too. Maybe someday! Love your new do, by the way! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of treatments before that specifically target hair fall. I wonder why pregnancy causes the hair to fall. Hormones? I guess if it's hormonal no external treatments can really do anything? I guess cutting it is a great option hehe. At least less sabit :D
