Hello 2010!

A brand new year.. A fresh start for new things.. A new blog to start those new things coming.. Why not, right? It's been two years so why not continue doing things you love most?

It's the 2nd day of 2010.. and I'd like to backtrack what happened in the last 24hours.. I felt like a cooking oil placed in the fridge, was I sleeping the whole time??  *time space warp*

1. I decided to let go all my hang ups, guilts, frustrations and disappointments by helping myself realize that life is indeed beautiful to be lived with all these negative stuff surrounding you.. There may be people who are destined to inflict you pain, but that's how life should really go. How would you learn to fight and defend yourself if everything is going smoothly.. Bumps and bruises will come along, and it's how you help yourself survive all these challenges. - I AM NOW MOVING ON.

2. I gave Mom a ring and God I really missed her. For many years, I've been celebrating holidays away from my family and now that I'm really living on my own, my tears just keep falling every time I hear a word from her. Love you Mom and I'll see you soon. - I AM AND WILL ALWAYS BE A LOVING DAUGHTER.

3. I received a very sweet message from my Super Top Friend, Christian Guerrero. It was a 4-part personalized message, not just some fancy forwarded quote from one person to another, and I was really touched.. "We may be closing the year but I promise you that my life would always be hooked to your life.." I called him straight away after reading his txt. God, thank you for sending good friends like him and I promise to take care of them too. - I FELT SO APPRECIATED, VALUED AND CARED.

4. I grabbed my cam and joined everyone as we do our New Year countdown. I had my fair share of noise inside my pad and I took videos and photos from my window as I am really scared to stay at the rooftop. I think it's nicer though to see fireworks there, viewing all over Manila, Ortigas and Rizal. - I WELCOMED 2010 WITH LOTS OF HOPE.

5. 10 minutes after 12, I prepped up as Chris and Yen will be picking me up to continue the celebration in Mall of Asia. Chris played "patintero" with all the street fireworks from Cubao all the way to Cambridge, haha! We were parked outside Cambridge while waiting for Yen and there's this drunk, dirty, not so old man who's really disturbing and I was freaking out coz' he's getting near us. Why oh why can't you put Alco in your tummy and not in your head, phew! - I'M STILL HAPPY COZ I'M WEARING RED! haha!

6. Went to MOA, met Chris' friends. Transferred to Taverna. Loved the ambience and crowd. Ordered Golden Margarita, it was a strong mix so I gave my glass to Chris. Enjoyed Zombie. Took photos. Free Cuervo shot for everyone. Made fun of Chris because of that tequilla shot. Yen disturbed with that ex-look-a-like guy in front of him. Took photos again. Ordered more drinks. Good conversations. Good music. Loved the place. Went home at 6. Sun was really shining. No traffic. After 9 long years, I've finally had my own definition of celebrating New Year as a certified single. - I AM HOT AND SINGLE! wink!

7. Slept most of the day of January 1st. Sleep. Went online. Grabbed something to bite. Went online. Watched TV. Sleep again. Call. Txt. Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. - I WOKE UP AT 11am JANUARY 2nd.

What a good way to start the year with super good friends, booze and fag. It's gonna be a long away ahead and I'm excited to see life's surprises. Goodbye 2009, all those good times will forever be in my treasure box. Thanks to all the laughter and tears. So what if it was a double whammy for me last year, I'm sure this year's gonna be different, BIG TIME!!!
